Het Paleis 'de Mare'

Welcome to BSO Het Paleis ‘de Mare’, the after-school care centre located right inside De Mare primary school at De Rotsduif 22 in Almelo. The moment the school bell rings, our qualified pedagogical staff take over. Children have access to the school’s excellent facilities: a large gym, a spacious indoor play area and a safe, green outdoor space where they can run, climb and explore. Our programme is fully synchronised with the school calendar, including holidays, study days and school trips. This keeps life simple and familiar for both children and parents. We provide care for up to 33 children aged 4 to 12, organised in horizontal age groups so that children play with peers while still having room for individual development. Physical activity is at the heart of our approach. Every day we organise games in the gym and on the playground where children can cycle, build and burn off energy. When the weather is poor, our indoor play hall offers plenty of space for active fun. Quiet corners and creative materials are also available for children who need to recharge after a busy school day.
