Partou BSO Zuiderkruisstraat 72

Welcome to Partou BSO Zuiderkruisstraat 72 in IJmuiden! Since August 1st, 2022, we have been welcoming children aged 4 to 12 at our brand-new after-school care facility. Located right next to the football field, we have plenty of space for sports and games. We provide care for up to 24 children and collaborate with KC de Pleiaden, De Klipper, De Origon, Het Kompas, and de Zefier primary schools. We put the child first in everything we do. We follow the Partou Pedagogy and assign a fixed mentor to each child. After school, we pick up the children and start our cozy after-school time together. We begin with a shared moment at the table with fruit and drinks, where our pedagogical staff always make time for a chat. Afterwards, children can enjoy free play with LEGO, beads, or outdoor fun. Around 3:30 PM, we start two activities lasting up to half an hour each. These include sports challenges, creative craft projects, or nature explorations. We make full use of our surroundings: the forest, dunes, beach, and even the Bunker Museum are within easy reach. During summer holidays, we organize the exciting 'Forest Adventure' for children aged 7 and older at the scouting clubhouse. Parents stay connected through the Partou parent app and receive regular newsletters. We work closely with parents, schools, and the Youth & Family Center to guide each child optimally in their development.
