't Speelhofje

‘t Speelhofje is a small-scale daycare centre located at Invaltij 17 in Noordwijk. We are part of Partou and provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our setting has one toddler group in which children stay together for an extended period. This horizontal group structure offers the stability and familiarity that toddlers need to feel secure and to develop optimally. Thanks to our modest size, we know every child and every family personally. We tailor our activities and daily schedule to the world as toddlers experience it, with playful learning at the heart of everything we do. Our rooms are designed to challenge and invite children to explore, while the homely atmosphere provides warmth and security. At ‘t Speelhofje we believe children should be allowed to grow at their own pace. We therefore follow a fixed daily rhythm in which rest and regularity go hand in hand with variety and challenge. Our professional staff are specialised in early childhood development and give each child the individual attention they deserve. We regard parents as partners in upbringing. We have brief daily exchanges about how each child is doing and organise regular parent meetings. Together we create a warm, safe place where toddlers can develop into independent, curious children.
