Partou BSO Steur 1

Welcome to Partou BSO Steur 1, located at Steur 1 in the Nieuwland district of Amersfoort. Our unique building, designed as a large tent, provides an adventurous space where children aged 4 to 12 can play, discover and relax after school. We are open Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and provide care for up to 50 children. Our spacious indoor location features high ceilings and various play zones. Children can get creative in the art studio, dress up in the home corner, build huts in the large hall, or quietly read a book in the reading corner. Additionally, we have a large outdoor playground where children can go outside every day, regardless of the weather. We believe in the power of outdoor play: it stimulates development and offers endless play opportunities. We work with base groups consisting of a fixed group of children. These groups are not tied to specific spaces, allowing children to play and discover flexibly. We use both horizontal and vertical groups, where children of different ages can play together. For children aged 9 and older, we have a special 9+ group with extra challenging activities. Our experienced team of pedagogical staff is ready to guide children in their development. Each child has their own mentor who gets to know the child well and with whom parents can discuss their child's development. We carefully follow each child's development and discuss this annually with parents during a development meeting. We pick up children from various primary schools in the area. During holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and offer a varied program with fun activities and excursions. We believe it's important that children can relax after a school day. Therefore, we provide quiet corners where children can rest, but also enough space to move and play.
