Welcome to Partou POV Valkweg, our warm and secure toddler care center in the quiet Vogelenbuurt neighborhood of Sliedrecht. Located at Valkweg 2, surrounded by green playgrounds, we have been providing a wonderful place for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4 years since 2014. At our center, everything revolves around creating a powerful start for every child. Our pedagogical climate is built on six building blocks that help children grow through play. We work with the official 'Uk & Puk' program, where we develop language skills, social abilities and motor skills through play. Our pedagogical professionals guide the children with warmth and attention, ensuring they feel safe and seen. A typical day begins with a warm welcome and circle time where we talk together about holidays, weekends or friends. This is followed by play and discovery, working in small groups formed based on age or developmental level. We make music, learn to wait our turn, and enjoy outdoor time in our green discovery garden. Here children can let off steam on bikes, play games and discover nature. Parents are directly involved in our activities. We keep parents informed about their child's development through our app and regularly plan trips to places like the library or park. We invite parents to join excursions so they can actively participate in their child's learning experiences. Our location has a clear daily routine with fixed moments for play, learning and outdoor activities. We offer both half and full day care, tailored to parents' needs. The play areas are safe and inviting, with special attention to stimulating imagination and creativity. We value a strong bond between child, parent and our pedagogical staff.
