Located in the Vathorst district, our after-school care at Oceaan 16 in Amersfoort provides a vibrant environment where children aged 4 to 12 experience new adventures every day. We pick up children from school by foot, bicycle, or taxi and bring them to our location where a world of discovery awaits. Our pedagogical professionals create an environment where every child feels safe and seen. With our six building blocks, we help children grow through play and gain new experiences, developing resilience and self-confidence for the future. Children can choose from various activities: from crafting to cooking, from playing games to exploring our garden together. A typical afternoon starts at 3:00 PM with playing together in the garden, followed by games or creative activities. Around 4:00 PM, children can choose which activities they want to join. We keep parents updated through our app about all the fun moments. Before pick-up, we all go outside again so children can move around after a day at school. Special moments like gourmet evenings, disco nights, and communal dining during the four-day walking event make the time at our after-school care unforgettable. We believe children develop best when they can discover, experiment, and play in a familiar environment with professional guidance.
