BSO Kerkweg 1

Welcome to BSO Kerkweg 1 in Deurningen, a homely after-school care centre run by Partou. Our team greets the children right after school in the building on Kerkweg 1, so no time is lost travelling and everyone can start playing, discovering and relaxing straight away. We work with small groups, a maximum of thirty children per day, so every child has room to be themselves. Our pedagogical staff know all the names, interests and talents and tailor the programme accordingly. After a shared start with a freshly topped roll, the children choose for themselves: join a workshop, a gym session in the sports hall or simply free play in the spacious garden. The options change daily; one moment we are baking pizzas, the next we are building a camp or practising badminton. Our garden borders the school playground and offers plenty of space for romping, football or just lying in the grass. When the weather is nice we eat outside and use the picnic tables and climbing equipment. Inside we have a creative corner with paint, craft supplies and games, so even on rainy days no one gets bored. During school holidays we organise an extensive holiday programme with themes such as ‘tough adventurers’ or ‘mini-chefs’. Think of scavenger hunts through the village, sports and games days and creative outings. We actively involve the children in thinking up activities, so the programme continues to match what they enjoy. Parents receive photos and short messages about the day via a parent portal, so you can share in the experiences at home.
