Welcome to Partou daycare center Sportlaan 2A in Zwolle. We provide small-scale childcare in a homely atmosphere, located in a multifunctional building in the Stadshagen district. Our location accommodates 44 children aged 0 to 4 years and features a large kitchen-living room where children eat and play together. The spacious garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and discovery. Our pedagogical staff work according to Partou Pedagogy, in which we give children the space to discover the world at their own pace. We use horizontal groups, where children come together in age groups. This provides peace and recognition for the children. We offer pre-school education (VVE), where we work playfully on language development and other skills that are important for development towards primary school. For the youngest children, we have separate baby groups where rest, regularity and attention are central. We provide bottle feeding according to the home rhythm and change diapers when needed. Toddlers and preschoolers have their own groups where they can play with peers and work on their development through play. We offer a healthy lunch and snacks daily, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. Parents are welcome and involved with us. We use the Partou parent app through which you receive photos and messages about your child's day. We also regularly organize parent evenings and workshops on parenting and development. Our parent committee helps think about policy and the content of our childcare. We work closely with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition to primary education. The pedagogical staff fill in transfer forms and discuss with parents how information about the child's development is transferred to the new teacher.
