Welcome to Partou KDV Pleiadenplantsoen 63, located within primary school De Pleiaden in the heart of IJmuiden. We provide a warm, safe home-from-home for up to 30 children aged 2 to 4 years. Because our group is small, every child receives the personal attention they deserve. Each morning we start together in a circle, singing songs and reading stories. After that the children dive into creative activities such as cutting, gluing, painting and modelling clay. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’, which playfully stimulates language development and independence. Physical activity is important to us: every week the children enjoy an active sports lesson and we regularly explore our green discovery garden or visit the nearby playground. Our experienced pedagogical professionals guide the children with warmth and expertise. We prepare them not only for primary school, but especially for a life in which they can be themselves. Through our parent app we keep you updated on all the beautiful moments your child experiences with us. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feel free to drop by for a tour and experience the pleasant atmosphere in which your child can grow.
