Welcome to Partou Daycare Karekiethof 10, a cosy and small-scale childcare centre in the heart of Ouderkerk aan den IJssel. We provide care for up to 25 children aged 0 to 4 years, divided into two horizontal groups: the baby group ‘de Elfjes’ and the toddler group ‘de Kabouters’. Our homely building borders primary school De Schakel and features a spacious, green garden full of natural play elements such as rocks, grass, sand and a climbing hill, where children can safely romp, explore and relax every day. Everything we do revolves around involvement and personal attention. Our team of pedagogical staff maintain close contact with parents and tailor care and activities precisely to what your child needs. We offer a varied activity programme that connects with the world of young children: singing together, reading aloud, building, but also quietly cuddling when needed. The toddler group regularly takes trips with the pull-along cart to the deer park to see animals up close, while the babies play, sleep and develop at their own pace in their familiar group. Our vegetable garden is a special place where children already learn at a young age how tomatoes grow and how to care for plants and animals. We believe it is important for children to experience and respect nature. Every day we serve fresh, healthy meals and snacks, so parents do not have to worry about food and drinks. Through our own Partou app, we keep parents informed of all milestones, moments of laughter and naps, so you never miss anything about your child.
