Welcome to Partou Daycare MMiXX – De Tol 251 in Leidschendam. We are a small-scale, homely daycare centre with three groups, located in the brand-new MMiXX Integrated Child Centre at De Tol 251. Thanks to our close cooperation with the primary school inside the centre, we offer a seamless developmental and learning line for children aged 0 to 4. Our pedagogical staff and the school teachers exchange information daily, ensuring a smooth transition to primary school. Everything we do revolves around fun, security, curiosity and growth. We follow every child’s development all day, every day. Once a year we record a detailed development scan covering movement, cognition, social skills, language, numeracy, independence and emotions. We share this information with parents and – when your child is almost four – with the primary school, so the developmental line continues without interruption. Our rooms are fresh and modern, and we have a beautiful, secure garden where the children play and explore every day. We also regularly use the large gym hall of the child centre for toddler gym and movement activities. Our fixed weekly programme includes toddler gym, a creative lesson, music class and dance or yoga. In this way we stimulate both gross and fine motor skills, imagination and musicality. We work with a stable, small team that really gets to know your child. Calm, routine and familiarity are central, so your child feels safe and secure. We use horizontal grouping: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are in separate groups tailored to their specific needs. The youngest receive all the time and attention they need for sleeping, feeding and cuddles; pre-schoolers practice independence and toilet training in a playful way. Parents receive daily photos and reports through the Partou parent app and are always welcome to drop in for a chat. We believe it is important that you are involved and celebrate your child’s development together with us.
