Welcome to Partou Daycare Burgemeester Oudlaan 50, our cozy childcare center located right on the Erasmus University campus in Rotterdam Kralingen. Situated beneath the auditorium of the Erasmus Building at the Woudestein campus, we provide care for up to 44 children aged 0 to 4 years. Every day we create a safe and warm environment where your child can make new friends and enjoy playing, learning and discovering. Our pedagogical team consists of experienced staff who care for children from many different nationalities. This means that children who don't speak Dutch or English quickly feel at home in our groups. We work with a daily program full of activities specifically tailored to the interests and developmental stages of the children. For the very youngest, we have developed special activities that match their developmental level. Every day we go outside in our lovely natural garden. Here children build sandcastles, play tag and discover nature. "Look, I see a butterfly!" is a frequently heard exclamation at our center. The outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities for imaginative play and motor development. In bad weather, we use our spacious indoor areas where children can move, play and explore. We offer various development-oriented activities such as gym classes, music making, imaginative play and reading books. These activities contribute to your child's broad development. We also work with VVE (preschool education) programs that stimulate language and cognitive development. Our pedagogical staff carefully observe the children and adapt activities to individual needs. Through our own parent app, you can follow all your child's adventures. We share photos, reports and important information about your child's development. This way you stay informed even when you're at work. For Erasmus University employees, we offer special discounts on childcare costs. Our location is well secured with an access system only available to parents and caregivers. We have separate sleeping areas where children can sleep peacefully in their own beds. For the very youngest, we provide bottle feeding and work with the food parents provide or that we agree upon together.
