Welcome to Partou day-care centre Boerhaavelaan 32B, located in the heart of Haarlem-South, right next to the Spaarne Gasthuis hospital and with Reinaldapark as our backyard. We provide care for up to 107 children aged 0 to 4, divided into horizontal groups so every child receives attention suited to his or her developmental stage. Everything we do is centred on learning through play. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a safe, familiar environment in which children can fully develop. We follow the Partou Pedagogy: we stimulate each child’s development at his or her own pace and in his or her own way. We focus on language, motor skills and social development. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, nappies and care products; toddlers enjoy healthy hot meals, fresh fruit and healthy snacks. Allergies and special dietary needs are carefully catered for. Our activities are varied and age-appropriate. We sing and make music, dance in the group room, do arts & crafts with different materials and read stories from our library. In our own garden we grow tomatoes and other vegetables so the children learn where food comes from. Every day we go outside: playing on our rooftop terrace, exploring Reinaldapark or visiting the playground. For toddlers we offer pre-school education (VE) to ensure a smooth transition to primary school. Parents stay in touch through our app and can choose half-day or full-day care. We believe it is important that parents feel completely at ease. We therefore work transparently, our doors are always open for a tour and we keep parents informed of all developments through our app. Together we ensure every child gets a flying start.
