Located on the border of Strijp R and Drents Dorp districts, our daycare centre at Apeldoornstraat 1 in Eindhoven is housed in the ‘SPIL centrum Strijp Dorp’ building, only a stone’s throw from both Philips van Lenneppark and Philips de Jonghpark. Up to 108 children explore stimulating group rooms with themed play corners every day, while the discovery garden – including a separate area for the youngest – offers hills, a water pump, tree trunks and a real running track for sporty challenges. We organise children into age groups. Babies (0-2) rest in a calm space with cribs and cosy corners; toddlers (1-2) enjoy extra movement challenges; and the preschool group (2-4) dive into themes such as ‘animals in the forest’ or ‘music around the corner’. Every Tuesday a sports coach visits to dance, sing and exercise with the preschoolers. Regular walks take us to the nearby forest and petting zoo, and music & dance workshops let children discover instruments themselves. Healthy food is part of our daily rhythm. Our kitchen serves fresh, warm meals and varied snacks packed with vegetables and fruit.
