Welcome to Partou KDV Alexander Flemingstraat 24, located in the heart of Haarlem-Schalkwijk, just a stone’s throw from Marsmanplein shopping centre. Our daycare centre has provided professional childcare since 1 September 2023 for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4. We use a horizontal group structure, placing babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers in separate age groups so every child can play and develop in an environment that perfectly matches his or her stage of development. A warm pedagogical climate is central to everything we do. Our experienced pedagogical staff follow Partou’s six building blocks: they take time for each child, provide structure and routine, stimulate language and thinking skills, offer plenty of room to move, handle media consciously and work intensively with parents. Learning through play happens in our green discovery garden, where children can ride bikes, build sandcastles and explore nature. Making music is also part of the day: singing together, practising rhythm and learning to wait for your turn. For the very youngest we provide tailored bottle feeding, nappy changes and quiet sleeping areas with cots and beds. Toddlers and pre-schoolers receive healthy snacks with fruit and drinks, and learn to interact with peers through play. We offer both full-day and half-day care, so parents can choose the option that best suits their family. Because we are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK number 270407601), you can apply for childcare allowance. Our location also works closely with IKC Valeo, allowing children to move seamlessly into the toddler and primary school groups in the same building. We use the Partou app to keep parents informed of their child’s daily adventures: from first steps to the latest craftwork. Together we give your child a powerful start!
