Welcome to Partou Dorpshuis at Snelliuslaan 33 in Badhoevedorp! Our after-school care is located right next to the G.Th. Rietveldschool, so children can walk straight in after the last bell rings. Location manager Lucille Polonius and her team are ready every day to give children aged 4 to 12 a place to recharge, explore and have fun together. Movement and creativity are at the heart of what we do. We have a large, private outdoor play area where children can ride scooters, romp and play football. Older children are allowed to go to the school playground or the nearby football field on their own. Just around the corner is a petting zoo that we visit regularly with the children. During school holidays we go on trips: we visit the forest, go to the fruit orchards in Amsterdam and organise all kinds of fun excursions. After school, children first get something nice to drink and a healthy snack. Then they choose what they want to do: arts and crafts, cooking, sports or just playing outside. We work with a fixed daily schedule, but take the children's wishes into account. Through our own Partou app, we keep parents informed of how much fun their child is having. In addition to after-school care, we also provide before-school care. So we pick up children in the morning and bring them safely to school. For safety and recognisability, all children wear a vest during pick-up and drop-off. We work closely with the Rietveldschool to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our pedagogical professionals ensure that every child feels safe and seen. We use Partou's six building blocks to let children grow and gain new experiences through play.
