Partou Dorpshuis BSO

Welcome to Partou Dorpshuis after-school care, located in the village hall next to primary school SamSam at De Honsvoet 2 in Oosterhout. We provide care for children aged 4 to 13, with children from 7 years onwards enjoying extra freedom to play and develop independently under the guidance of our qualified pedagogical staff. During school weeks we are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During school holidays and study days we open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We work with fixed base groups so children feel safe and familiar. Groups are horizontally arranged: Babbel (7–13 years, max. 26 children) and VSO (4–13 years, max. 22 children). Children have space to explore and learn. With parental permission they may play independently on the school playground or in the playground across the street. We offer a warm meal for families who wish to use this service. Our pedagogical staff guide children in sports activities, creative challenges and natural discoveries. We regularly organise outings and work closely with local schools, including SamSam primary school. Communication runs through the Partou parent app. Here we share daily experiences, you can request extra care or swap days (subject to availability). Each child has a personal mentor who is the contact point for questions about development and well-being. We invite parents annually for a development meeting and have an active parent committee that contributes to our policy. Our location is safely designed with various rooms where children can play freely or participate in activities. We operate an open-door policy, allowing children ready for extra challenge to use other spaces within our location. This stimulates social skills and provides variety in play and interaction.
