Welcome to Partou daycare De Posterij, located in the characteristic former post office at Achterweg 2D in the heart of Nieuwkoop. After a full renovation, this building has been transformed into a bright, colourful and modern daycare centre where 44 children aged 0 to 4 years find a second home. Our location works with horizontal core groups: Postbusjes (0-2 years, max. 12 children), Postduifjes (0-4 years, max. 16 children) and Postboot (2-4 years, max. 16 children). Each group has its own age-specific layout with cosy play corners, a home corner for role-play, a discovery corner with open-ended materials and a quiet sleeping area. The very youngest have a separate baby corner where they can explore at their own pace. We offer a challenging daily activity programme based on the Partou building blocks: Wise & Discover, Together & Play, Green & Healthy, Sports & Movement and Stage & Expression. Music is high on our priority list: we sing theme songs, use music lessons and guide children in discovering rhythm and sound. We also actively stimulate language development through reading aloud, rhymes and table conversations. Our large, green garden is a true play and learning environment. Children bake sand pies, race with go-karts, search for insects or help maintain our plants. We go outside every day – rain or shine – and regularly take trips to the library or the nearby care centre where elderly people come to visit us. Care is arranged down to the smallest detail: nappies, wipes and sunscreen are included. We serve fresh, hot meals, sandwiches and healthy snacks, taking allergies and dietary requirements into account. Bottle feeding is of course possible; parents can bring their own food or use our bottle warmers. Communication runs via the Partou parent app: photos, sleep and meal times, development and holiday schedules can be followed in real time. Each parent receives a digital newsletter at least every three months and is invited annually for a development meeting. Flexible care (occasional or structural) is possible on Wednesdays and Fridays. Our pedagogical staff are qualified and work according to the familiar-faces principle. Each child has a personal mentor who follows development and seeks connection with primary schools in the region. Together we provide a safe, familiar place where your child can grow, play and discover.
