BSO De Akker

Welcome to BSO De Akker, part of Partou and located within the Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Akker at P.C. Hooftlaan 200 in Hengelo-Groot Driene. As soon as the school bell rings at IKC De Akker, our childcare staff are ready to pick up the children in safety vests and guide them to the after-school care area. The BSO group rooms are situated next to the daycare facilities within the same building, allowing us to make optimal use of all IKC amenities. After school, children can enjoy crafting, building, reading or using computers. In our kitchen we prepare healthy and tasty snacks together. We extensively use the spacious outdoor area: playing on the schoolyard, football in the pannakooi or a game of softball on the sports field. We regularly take trips to the park for picnics and duck watching. Being part of the IKC, we work closely with the school. This means we have extensive knowledge and can build upon what children experienced during the day. We follow the principles of De Vreedzame School, focusing on each child's uniqueness and giving them space to develop their own play. We encourage self-reliance and provide a safe environment where children can be themselves. Parents stay informed through our own Partou app, allowing you to see what your child has experienced. We're not only available on school days, but also offer care during holidays and study days with a special holiday program.
