Welcome to Partou daycare centre D. Marotstraat 40 in the heart of Velserbroek. On behalf of our close-knit team, I warmly welcome you and your child to our safe and caring environment. We provide daycare for up to 117 children aged 0 to 4, divided into horizontal age groups that match your child’s developmental stage. Our location features a spacious, bright indoor play hall and a large green outdoor playground where children can move and explore every day. Our experienced pedagogical staff follow the Partou concept ‘Children in Development’. We offer a predictable daily routine that provides rest and security, combined with fun and educational activities. The day starts with free play, followed by a shared fruit or cracker moment. Next, we choose an activity linked to the current theme: think music, yoga, reading aloud, crafts or toddler exercise. Around 11:30 a.m. we eat bread together and most children then rest in our separate sleeping rooms. The afternoon ends with another snack and free play until pick-up. Safety and hygiene are paramount. We apply the four-eyes principle to ensure constant supervision, and we accommodate allergies and dietary needs—always in consultation with parents. We use the Partou parent app to share photos, reports and news, so you stay informed about your child’s experiences. The app also lets you report absence or request extra days. We believe parental involvement is important. We regularly organise parent evenings, themed meetings and celebrations. Our active parent committee helps shape policy and activities.
