Kinderopvang Christoffel

Welcome to Partou Christoffel, our daycare centre on the grounds of Slotervaart Hospital at Louwesweg 4 in Amsterdam New-West. We provide care for 85 children aged 0 to 4, divided into six horizontal groups. Each group room has a garden door opening directly onto our spacious, green outdoor playground – a true play paradise with a climbing hill, climbing logs, raspberry and currant bushes, an adventure corner, bikes, go-karts and a sandpit. Our youngest guests enjoy a separate baby garden. Our pedagogical professionals work according to Partou’s six building blocks: a solid pedagogical climate in which every child feels safe and secure and learns and grows through play. We keep parents informed of their child’s experiences and development via our app. Every day we serve a fresh, healthy lunch; every other week this is a hot meal. Fruit and snacks are included and we accommodate allergies and dietary needs. For the youngest children we provide bottle feeding according to the home schedule. After the afternoon nap we do movement exercises together to train muscle strength and balance. Before pick-up we make music together – a daily celebration to end the day.
