Welcome to Partou After-School Care Max de Bossustraat 8, located in the multifunctional children’s centre De Heydonck in Best. We provide professional after-school care for children aged 4 to 12. Our bright, spacious rooms are directly connected to the school’s gym and auditorium, giving us plenty of room to play and move. We work closely with primary school De Paersacker, only a short walk away. Our qualified staff pick the children up every day and accompany them to the after-school care. During teacher training days and school holidays we are open all day from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Activities are at the heart of what we do. We regularly visit Wilhelmina Park, which has a playground and a small petting zoo, as well as the local library, museum or sports field. Every outing is carefully prepared using a risk-assessment checklist and our ‘off-site activities’ protocol. Parents can easily indicate via the Partou parent app whether their child may join. On quiet training days or holiday weeks we may organise joint activities with Partou After-School Care Wildheuvel 1. Combining the children from both locations allows us to offer even more exciting, age-appropriate activities and ensures every child has peers around. We actively involve the children in the preparations and pay extra attention to the transition so that everyone feels at home quickly. Within children’s centre De Heydonck, teachers and childcare staff share information about the children’s development. This enables us to guide every child optimally, especially during the first period at school. Your child’s fixed mentor is always the first point of contact for questions or consultation. We use the Partou parent app for practical matters and to keep you informed of anything special. Through the app you can indicate whether your child may join an excursion, view photos and communicate directly with our team.
