Welcome to Partou daycare centre Amsterdamseweg 311 in Amstelveen! We are located in a beautifully renovated former church in the Elsrijk district, conveniently situated between Amstelveen’s Old Village and Amsterdam. Our bright, pleasant rooms give children all the space they need to play and discover. In the sheltered courtyard garden babies have their own safe spot, while toddlers can run and romp in the surrounding garden. With Broersepark and the Amsterdamse Bos just around the corner, we regularly head outdoors to explore nature. Every day begins calmly: a cuddle with the pedagogical employee while mum or dad shares how the weekend went. Then it is time to explore. We read a book together, sing songs and make music with real instruments. In between we go outside; coats on and fresh air in our discovery garden. Around 10:45 it is bottle- or fruit-time: the children help each other, learning to share and cooperate. After lunch there is quiet nap time in a separate sleep room, followed by movement and yoga exercises to train muscles and balance. Around 15:30 we make music together again, so mum or dad leaves with a cheerful tune. Our pedagogical professionals work according to Partou’s six building blocks: safety, development, involvement, cooperation, fun and sustainability. We track every milestone through our own app, keeping parents informed. Fresh, healthy meals and snacks are served daily. We take time for personal attention so that every child quickly feels safe and secure and can grow with confidence.
