Parelmoer

Welcome to Peuteropvang Parelmoer, located at Vaandrigstraat 15 in Rotterdam. We are part of Kindcentrum Talma and provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years. At our location, every child feels at home and seen. We create a warm atmosphere daily where your child can be themselves. Our location features two comfortable group spaces with toy cabinets at child height, allowing children to choose and play independently. We have created various play corners, including a home corner with pots and spoons, a construction corner, and an ever-changing theme corner. In this theme corner, we use lots of real-life materials - recently we had a beach corner with actual sand and baked pizzas with the children. Outdoor play is just as important to us as indoor activities. We go outside twice per session to our beautiful natural playground. Here children can play, run and hide among the swings, sandbox and wood chips. The natural environment stimulates their imagination and motor development. We work with themes from the Early Preschool Education (VE) program Uk & Puk, which align with the themes of primary school de Talma. Our qualified and VE-certified pedagogical staff pay great attention to language activities, working with theme walls, storytelling and theme tables, conversation pictures and theme words that return daily. This way we prepare your child for primary school through play. We regularly organize special activities such as the Toddler Four Days Walk and Children's Book Week. We also collaborate with primary school de Talma, where children sometimes receive music lessons or do something sporty. This collaboration makes the transition to primary school as small and pleasant as possible. Feel free to come by and experience the atmosphere.
