Panta Rhei

We are Kindercentrum Panta Rhei, located at Daam Fockemalaan 22 in the beautiful Eemklooster area of Amersfoort. As a daycare centre, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe and natural environment. Our work is deeply rooted in the anthroposophical vision: every child is a unique being whom we guide with love, passion and expertise on their own developmental path. Everything we do revolves around rhythm, calm and space for development. We consciously use horizontal groups, so babies and toddlers are placed in age-specific settings. Our baby groups offer the very youngest a serene environment with soft colours, natural materials and a clear daily rhythm. In our toddler groups we stimulate independence and imagination through free play, seasonal activities and creative expression. Nature experience is inseparable from our daycare. We are proud of our Green Cement certificate. Our children play outside every day in the rich outdoor space: they work in the vegetable garden, care for our chickens, play with sand, water and branches, and – weather permitting – sleep wonderfully outdoors in the fresh air. Indoors we deliberately choose natural materials, organic food and seasonal decorations that help the children experience the cycle of the year. Our pedagogical policy is concrete and measurable. We provide pre-school education (VVE) from 2.5 years onwards, focused on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We work with themes that connect to the child’s experience, such as ‘autumn’, ‘light and darkness’ or ‘the farm’. Our pedagogical staff are trained in the anthroposophical approach and carefully observe each child in order to tailor our programme to his or her needs. For parents we offer clear communication and a warm welcome. We believe it is important that parents feel involved in their child’s development. That is why we regularly organise parent meetings, open mornings and seasonal celebrations. Together we create a safe haven where children can develop into balanced people, ready to find their unique place in the world.
