Schoolhuys

Welcome to BSO Schoolhuys, located in the friendly Het Gilden neighborhood in Houten. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and situated on the ground floor of the Catholic Primary School ’t Schoolhuys at Tappersgilde 22. Our space is decorated with cheerful colors, various play corners and a wide range of materials and toys. Every day we offer a challenging activity program tailored to the age, interests and developmental areas of the children. Activities and workshops are provided by our pedagogical staff or by external providers. Children aged 7 and older also get the chance to lead a workshop themselves (under supervision). We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we do everything we can to make children feel safe, seen and heard. We provide a rich environment in which play, discovery and learning are central. Each month starts with a new theme and during school holidays we organize extra challenging activities and excursions. Children actively help decide on new materials and come up with new themes and activities together with us. This way they not only learn through play, but also get space to contribute their own ideas and develop themselves. Our BSO is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM during school holidays. We are here for all children of primary school ’t Schoolhuys and offer them a familiar place where they can relax, play and grow.
