Peuteropvang De Dordtse Til is located on the ground floor of primary school De Dordtse Til at Walevest 10 in Nieuw-Dordrecht. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. The toddler care is open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during school weeks. Our professional pedagogical staff guide the children with great enthusiasm and passion. We work according to the Uk & Puk method, where we work thematically and focus on language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development. This method seamlessly connects with the education in groups 1 and 2 of the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to primary education. We offer Pre- and Early School Education (VVE), aimed at stimulating the language development of young children. Children with a VVE indication have priority in placement and pay a lower parental contribution. The municipality largely pays these hours for VVE. As the toddler care is located in the same building as the primary school, children become familiar with the school environment. We work closely with the kindergarten classes, share themes and regularly come together to play. This way we optimally prepare children for their school years.
