Welcome to Open-Up!|Fun-Kidz at location De Spoorzoeker, located in the school building at Pastoor Pottersplein 2 in Breda. As part of the BSO specialists in sports and culture, we provide a dynamic after-school learning environment for children aged 4 to 12. Our location works closely with primary school De Spoorzoeker. We pick up children directly from their classrooms after school and take them to our spacious childcare area within the same building. The youngest children from groups 1 to 3 find a calm and safe place to relax after their school day. For children from group 4 upwards, we organize age-appropriate activities that match their interests. Our program consists of three pillars: Sports, Culture, and Meeting. During Sports & Play, we use the schoolyard, playground, and sports field for activities like running, cycling, climbing, and tag. We collaborate with local sports clubs and regularly organize outings. Our cultural projects last 2-3 weeks and are linked to engaging themes. Children discover, experiment, and create in our cultural studio with plenty of materials. We visit events like Breda Photo, go to museums, and explore the neighborhood. Children have a say in our program. They help choose which activities we do and learn through play that they have influence over their own time. Our pedagogical staff ensure there's always something enjoyable to do, whether children want to play actively or prefer to relax with a book or craft project. We are open on school days from 14:30 to 18:15 (on Wednesdays from 12:30). During the 12 school holiday weeks, we provide holiday care from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:15. Parents use our convenient parent app for registrations, changes, and communication.
