KDV Ripperda Op Stoom

Kinderdagverblijf Ripperda is located in a beautiful monumental building in Haarlem-Noord. We provide care for up to 73 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates development and creates a warm, homely atmosphere. Our location on Huzarenstraat features a spacious garden where children can explore and play to their heart's content. A special aspect of our childcare is that we offer children the opportunity to sleep outdoors. This contributes to healthy development and strong resistance. We believe in the importance of being outdoors and therefore let children explore the garden daily. We follow the pedagogical vision of Op Stoom, where the learning process is more important than the result. Our pedagogical staff take time for each child and follow their own developmental pace. We provide loving care and pay attention to the development of language, motor skills and social skills in a playful way. For the youngest ones, we provide complete care including diapers, bottle feeding and care products. We have separate bedrooms where babies can sleep peacefully in a familiar environment. For toddlers and preschoolers, we offer varied activities that match their curiosity and developmental stage. Communication with parents is very important to us. In addition to daily handovers at drop-off and pick-up, we use the web portal and Parent App from Konnect. This way, parents stay informed about all the adventures their child experiences with us.
