KDV Meerwijk Op Stoom

Welcome to KDV Meerwijk Op Stoom, located at Leonardo da Vinciplein 74B in the heart of Haarlem. We are a daycare centre where your child feels safe and at home. There is always time for a cuddle, a gentle pat on the head, and we have endless patience. Our setting is homely and small-scale, with 32 places for children. We see the world through your child’s eyes: carpet feels wonderfully warm and gives grip for crawling, and the play corners invite discovery. Together we create fantastic artworks, from small creations to giant masterpieces. Fingers in paint or happily colouring outside the lines – making mistakes simply doesn’t exist; experimenting is what we do. Outside is just as delightful. We regularly go out: to the petting zoo, the library or the Molenplas. Within ten steps we are surrounded by greenery, feeling the wind in our hair and the rain on our noses. We keep parents informed through the web portal and the Parent App from Konnect, so you never miss any of your child’s adventures. At drop-off we love to hear what your child has experienced at home, and at pick-up we proudly share what we have discovered together. KDV Meerwijk Op Stoom is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We are part of Op Stoom, a childcare organisation that works with courage and unconventional choices. We value the process of what children do and learn more than what they produce. We provide loving care and devote playful attention to children’s development.
