KDV De Kring Op Stoom

KDV De Kring Op Stoom is located in the heart of Haarlem, at Parklaan 108, and is part of the childcare organization Op Stoom. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since September 30, 2011. At KDV De Kring Op Stoom, we work in horizontal groups, which means children of approximately the same age are together in a group. This provides peace and familiarity for the children and allows our pedagogical staff to specifically respond to the developmental needs of each age group. Our location is on the ground floor of primary school De Kring, making the transition to primary school feel familiar for many children. We use the school's nature garden where children can play, discover and learn. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily activities. We believe that being outdoors contributes to children's motor development, imagination and well-being. At Op Stoom, we believe the process is more important than the result. We give children space to experiment, discover and learn at their own pace. We work with small groups, ensuring plenty of individual attention for each child. Our pedagogical staff are ready with a hug, a pat on the head and endless patience. KDV De Kring Op Stoom is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 11:45 AM. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, care is also available until 2:45 PM. We are closed during official school holidays and public holidays such as New Year's Day, Easter Monday, King's Day, Ascension Day and Whit Monday. We believe it's important for parents to be involved in their child's development. That's why we keep parents informed about their child's experiences through our web portal and the Parent App from Konnect. We really take the time to tell you what your child has discovered and learned with us.
