BSO Camelot op Stoom

BSO Camelot op Stoom is located at Vrijheidsweg 84 in Haarlem and is part of the childcare organization Op Stoom. The name Camelot refers to the legendary castle of King Arthur and symbolizes a safe home base where children can relax, play and discover after school. The location accommodates up to 33 children and is open Monday through Friday from the moment school ends until 6:30 PM. During study days and school holidays, the BSO is already open from 7:30 AM. Our spaces are furnished with plenty of play corners where children can retreat or play together. We love sports and regularly use the school gym to get moving. In addition, we enjoy cooking and baking with the children; from homemade sushi to bright green vegetable soup, we get to work as enthusiastically as seasoned chefs. Cooperation with the primary school is highly valued, ensuring a smooth transition from school to BSO and helping children feel at home quickly. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm and stable environment where every child can be themselves. We believe it is important that children can unwind after a busy school day, but also discover new things. Thanks to the small-scale nature of the group, we know each child well and can cater to individual needs.
