KDV Franciscus Op Stoom

KDV Franciscus Op Stoom is a warm and homely daycare center located at Kerklaan 8 in the heart of Bennebroek. We provide care for up to 48 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our spaces feel like home: soft carpeting, colorful corners, and an atmosphere where children feel safe and free to develop. We put the child at the center of everything we do. We believe that the process of discovery and learning is more important than the outcome. That’s why we give children the freedom to make their own choices. Whether they choose to balance on tree trunks in our discovery garden, hide behind the greenery, or quietly play with homemade witch soup from the mud kitchen — it’s up to them. Our outdoor space is a true paradise. There’s more room than inside, specially designed for exploring and moving. We don’t keep children inside when it rains a little. Being outside is how they get to know the world, using all their senses. We believe it’s important that children not only learn from us, but also from others. That’s why we collaborate with the elderly from Meerleven and residents of the Hartekampgroep. Together we bake pancakes, sing songs, or make soup with fresh vegetables from the community garden. These encounters between young and old make our daycare special. KDV Franciscus Op Stoom is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are part of Op Stoom, a childcare organization that dares to choose its own path. We communicate with parents through the Parent App by Konnect, so you never miss a moment of your child’s adventures.
