KDV Bakenessergracht Op Stoom

Daycare Bakenessergracht Op Stoom is a charming location in the heart of Haarlem. This place is one of the very first Op Stoom locations, formerly known as 't Kootertje. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in one vertical group called the Trapgeveltjes. Siblings play together happily here. We believe it's important that children have the space to discover and learn. In our front room, there's lots of dancing, in the doll corner children play house, and in the mud kitchen they do some serious cooking. We regularly go on outings with the pull cart to the cheese shop, where children are guaranteed to get a piece of cheese in their little fists. We're also regular visitors to the library and every other week we visit the grandpas and grandmas of the nearby Janskliniek. Together we sing songs and play games, which is enjoyable for young and old alike. Our pedagogical approach focuses on the process of what children do and learn, more important than what they make. We pay playful attention to children's development. It's about the big things, but also the very small things that make our childcare extra special for you and your child.
