Op Stap

Op Stap is a daycare center located at Korte Kerkweg 19 in Rouveen, operated by the Protestant-Christian Toddler Foundation. We provide professional development-focused childcare with a clear emphasis on learning through play, creativity, and outdoor activities. Our location is recognized for preschool education (VE) and follows a pedagogical policy aimed at children aged 2.5 to 4 years. At Op Stap, child development is central. We offer a safe and familiar environment where children are playfully challenged in their motor, cognitive, language, and creative skills. Our pedagogical staff ensure a positive atmosphere where every child feels emotionally secure. We pay great attention to language enrichment through circle time moments where children can tell their stories and we discuss themes together. The spaces are atmospherically decorated with children's crafts in themes such as Spring and Easter, stimulating creative development. Our outdoor space offers ample opportunities for outdoor play and nature exploration. We believe it's important for children to spend lots of time outdoors and learn to discover nature. Activities are tailored to the child's developmental stage and we carefully monitor each child's development. We work closely with parents and actively involve them in their child's development process. Op Stap accommodates 16 children and is a recognized childcare facility under the supervision of GGD IJsselland. We use a horizontal group structure where children of similar ages play and learn together. We offer both half and full day care, tailored to family needs.
