Op ùs pleats

Op ùs pleats is a daycare center located on a farm at Stationsweg 97 in Gorredijk. Everything we do revolves around playing in nature. Children get to feed the pigs, build huts, craft with stones they've found themselves, climb and clamber through the garden, snuggle in a carrier, eat vegetables they've grown themselves from our vegetable garden, get dirty in the mud, or enjoy roasted apples from the campfire together. We believe that outdoor play in all seasons is the best school for learning. Our children aren't just playing - they're learning, creating, feeling, believing, relaxing, exploring, observing, wondering, connecting, discovering, appreciating, understanding, and experimenting. We provide plenty of space for movement and give children the opportunity to discover boundaries and risks in movement. There's ample time for self-initiated play with natural materials that invite exploration and experimentation. Our groups consist of as many of the same children with the same staff members as possible. This way your child knows who to expect, which creates peace and a sense of security. We work with vertical groups where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. This setup stimulates natural development and social learning in children. Op ùs pleats is open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 208815818 for daycare and 203099011 for after-school care.
