Oosterflank

Welcome to after-school care Oosterflank, located at Tyruspad 30 in Rotterdam. We are part of gro-up childcare and provide care for up to 27 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our team is led by location manager Agnes de Groot-Zolynska. Our BSO is located within primary school De Pionier, allowing us to pick up children directly after school without transportation. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday we provide care at location Onze Wereld. A typical afternoon starts at 14:45 when we pick up the children from school. We work with two shifts from 14:30-18:30. During vacation weeks we join with BSO Onze Wereld and Sjakie in de Chocoladefabriek, following the 3-hour schedule of the respective location. Our pedagogical policy focuses on providing a healthy, safe and opportunity-rich environment where children can develop. We believe in the importance of enriching experiences, developing social skills and stimulating independence. Through cooperation between pedagogical staff and parents, we tailor our care to each child's developmental needs. We use the gro-up parent portal where parents can register their child, request extra care and give permission for various matters. Parents also receive newsletters via the parent app and email.
