Oosteinde

Located in the child-friendly Voorburg Midden Oud neighbourhood, our intimate daycare centre Oosteinde is set in a beautiful historic building on the ground floor. Large French doors open straight onto our spacious green garden, where children aged 0–4 can explore every day: climbing, building sandcastles, whizzing down the slide and simply getting wonderfully messy while playing with natural materials. Freedom and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We believe children develop best when they are free to choose and discover for themselves. That’s why we give them plenty of space to take charge as soon as they are ready – from spreading their own sandwich to independently picking the activity they fancy. Each day offers endless opportunities to let imagination run wild, feel new textures and explore the world. Our setting is small-scale and easy to oversee, with four groups in total: two baby groups, a toddler group and a mixed-age group for children 1–4 years. This layout creates calm and familiarity. All our pedagogical staff are trained baby specialists who provide warm care and recognise every little cry. Every child also has a dedicated mentor who closely follows their development and invites parents to an in-depth conversation once a year.
