Ooievaarsnest

Kindcentrum Het Ooievaarsnest is a small-scale childcare facility located in the quiet neighborhood of Zwaag, where we have been providing loving care for children aged 0 to 4 for over 40 years. Our daycare is part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland and accommodates a maximum of 15 children, allowing us to give each child the personal attention they deserve. We believe in small-scale operations and quality care. Our professional pedagogical staff know every child and understand their individual needs. We provide a safe and familiar environment where children can develop at their own pace. The limited group size creates a homely atmosphere where children quickly feel at home. Our daycare works closely with other components of the children's center, enabling a seamless transition to the toddler groups and later primary education. Children who start in our baby and toddler groups often progress to our toddler groups "De Ooievaartjes" and "De Zwaaghalsjes" when they turn 2 years old. We believe it's important for children to develop in a familiar environment. Therefore, we work with consistent faces and a consistent approach. Our location at Kalbstraat 1 in Zwaag is easily accessible and has its own playground where children can play and explore safely.
