Onder Moeders Paraplu

Onder Moeders Paraplu is a small-scale preschool facility operated by Stichting Weesper Peuterklassen, located in the heart of Weesp at Singel 4a. We are situated in a school building between OBS De Triangel and Van der Muelen-Vastwijkschool, with whom we maintain close collaboration. Our location accommodates a maximum of 16 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 2012. We provide preschool education (VVE) for children from 2 years old. Our approach focuses on preparing children for primary school through play-based learning. We organize thematic activities that connect with young children's world of experience. Language development is central to our program, utilizing recognized VVE methodologies. Our opening hours are flexibly arranged with different groups. Group A, for example, is open on Monday from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We maintain a minimum care duration of 10 hours per week, divided into 4-hour sessions. This provides parents the flexibility to align childcare with their work schedules. As part of Stichting Weesper Peuterklassen, we work intensively with nearby primary schools. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition to primary school. We have a warm handover process with the schools, where we thoroughly discuss each child's capabilities and areas requiring additional attention.
