Welcome to daycare centre Om de Hoek at Belgeren 5 in 's-Hertogenbosch. We are a small-scale family business run by Matthijs and Denise Verkuijl, and since April 2025 we have officially opened our second group dedicated to children aged 0 to 4. Everything we do revolves around you and your child. We stand side by side with parents, searching together for the very best solution that fits both the child and the parents’ wishes. Our brand-new location at Belgeren 5 offers a fresh perspective on childcare in Den Bosch. We set ourselves apart from the big players through our flexibility: swapping days and granting credits are all possible. If you cancel your child before 7:30 a.m., you can make up that day later. This keeps childcare practical and parent-friendly. Outdoor play is important to us. That is why we have a large, secure outdoor space where children can romp to their hearts’ content. Inside, we create the warm, homely atmosphere that suits a true family business. Our pedagogical staff are our driving force; they build a personal bond with every child and closely follow each child’s development. No child is the same, and each develops at their own pace. We encourage learning new things and, above all, ensure that play remains fun. Daycare centre Om de Hoek works with the UNESCO label. We contribute to a safe and tolerant world by teaching children respect for one another from an early age. Because peace begins in the minds of people – and with us, that starts in the baby and toddler groups.
