Olke Bolke

Olke Bolke is our daycare center located at Oude Kanaaldijk 3 in Alkmaar. We are part of Rollebol Children's Centers and provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in a spacious, detached building along the North Holland Canal. Everything we do revolves around familiarity and continuity. We work with a permanent team of pedagogical staff that provides safety and security every single day. For our youngest ones, we have four cozy baby groups with a maximum of 8 children per group. Each child has a dedicated pedagogical employee who takes care of ensuring a pleasant day. For parents with limited time, we use a digital diary through the Rollebol App. For the toddler years, we have four vertical groups for children aged 2 to 4 years. These groups accommodate up to 16 children. Besides large group rooms, you'll also find separate sleeping areas and a play loft. The spaces are optimally designed for the children's age, with toys and materials that match their developmental stage. We offer recognized pre-school education (VVE) following the Uk & Puk method. This program stimulates development in language, thinking, motor skills, and social-emotional abilities in a playful way. This way, we properly prepare your child for primary school. Once a year, we schedule a parent meeting focused on your child's well-being, partly based on observation lists. Our kitchen assistant prepares fresh meals, allowing our pedagogical staff maximum time for the children. We work with fixed daily routines where activities like crafting, outdoor play, eating fruit, sleeping, and reading aloud follow each other. Themes are regularly offered and tailored to the children's world of experience. At Olke Bolke, your child with his or her personality and individual needs takes center stage. Children are allowed to be who they are and are given space to develop at their own pace.
