Welcome to Okidoki Wagenmakerstraat, our daycare centre in the heart of 's-Gravenzande. We are located in the same building as primary school Prins Willem-Alexander, allowing children from babies to toddlers to grow up in a familiar environment and make a playful transition to primary education. This unique collaboration makes our location a safe and recognisable place for both children and parents. At Okidoki Wagenmakerstraat we work with horizontal groups. We have two baby groups (0-2 years) and two toddler groups (2-4 years), both toddler groups participate in pre-school education (VE). This structure enables our pedagogical staff to respond specifically to the developmental needs of each age group. Our spacious group rooms are equipped with various play corners and developmental materials, so every child can discover what makes them happy. Our green outdoor space is a true play and learning environment. Children can play safely outside here, build huts and get acquainted with nature. The outdoor space seamlessly connects with our pedagogical policy in which natural play and discovery are central. We believe that outdoor play is essential for children's development and therefore offer the opportunity to use our garden on a daily basis. The collaboration with primary school Prins Willem-Alexander ensures a smooth transition from toddler care to primary education. Our oldest toddlers already get to know the school environment through short visits to the kindergarten classes. This happens in a playful and relaxed way, with the child's pleasure and curiosity taking centre stage. Our location accommodates up to 60 children and has been registered in the National Childcare Register since 2010. We meet all national quality requirements and are supervised by the GGD Haaglanden. Our manager Kirsten van den Ende and her team of pedagogical staff are ready to work with you to stimulate your child's development in a safe, homely environment full of warmth and personal attention.
