Welcome to Okido, our small-scale daycare centre located at St.-Pietersberg 40A in De Meern. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4 years in two vertical groups. The space is furnished like a home, with various play corners suited for every age. We focus strongly on movement and nature, allowing children to develop naturally through play. At Okido, we work with a consistent team of qualified staff who know each child personally. We follow early childhood education programmes (VVE) to support your child’s development in the best possible way. Our activities are tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage: from singing and reading for the youngest to creative and discovery activities for toddlers and preschoolers. We regularly go on local excursions and use our own garden for outdoor play. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding according to their home routine and offer quiet sleeping areas. For older children, we serve healthy meals and snacks, taking allergies into account. Our daily schedule includes a balanced mix of play, sleep, meals, and relaxation. Half-day care is also available. Our location is secured with an access code, and we maintain clear handover moments with parents. We believe in parental involvement and keep you informed about your child’s development.
