OKC de Reiger

Welcome to OKC de Reiger, located at Stengeplein 4 in the heart of Heinkenszand. Our child centre is part of Kibeo and offers after-school care (BSO) for up to 13 primary-school children aged 4 to 12. We provide a safe, trusted place where children can relax, play and discover together after the school day ends. Our qualified pedagogical staff greet the children with a big smile every weekday. We start the afternoon with a shared moment to chat about the school day, followed by plenty of room for personal choice. In our spacious garden children climb, run and hide to their heart’s content. Inside, cosy play corners invite them to craft, build or quietly read a book. In this way we stimulate not only fine motor skills, but also imagination and social skills. Through the parent portal we keep parents informed of all the adventures their child experiences with us. A photo of a homemade rocket, a report of an exciting game or a message that lunch was enjoyed – parents follow their child’s development every step of the way. We also work closely with primary schools in the immediate area, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. At OKC de Reiger no two days are the same. We believe in the power of learning through play and give children the space to be themselves.
