Nuts Teteringen

Welcome to after-school care Nuts Teteringen, a creative and trusted place for children aged 4 to 12. We are located right inside Nutsbasisschool Teteringen at Breeschot 18 in Teteringen. Because we are literally in the school building, children can simply walk to our after-school care room after classes, which feels very familiar and safe. Creativity and discovery are at the heart of everything we do. Making puppet shows, designing and sewing (theatre) costumes, painting; creative minds thrive here. Under the guidance of a specialized pedagogical staff member, children create the most beautiful things. We work with the DoenKids program, a database full of activities. Every day is different, yet we provide a consistent daily rhythm. Our spaces are attractively furnished and we also use the school's auditorium and playroom. Outside, children can play and explore in the spacious schoolyard with discovery garden. In summer, we move our activities for one week to the scouting grounds in Teteringen, where we build huts, make campfires, and organize sports and games tournaments. We believe it's important for children to play with peers and discover new talents and hobbies. Our pedagogical staff are ready to guide and encourage children. We work closely with Nutsbasisschool Teteringen, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. The hourly rate includes food and drinks, including fruit and healthy snacks. Extra activities, excursions, and theme weeks are also included. Through the Parent App, we keep parents updated daily with fun photos and the latest news. We are proud to offer a small-scale, familiar environment backed by the strength of a large professional organization.
