Welcome to daycare centre 2Ontdekkers, part of Kindcentrum De Beleving located at Rijslag 17-21 in the heart of Scheveningen. In our modern, spacious building we provide full-day care for children aged 0 to 4. Together with primary school Het Volle Leven we form one warm community where children find a safe and stimulating environment from the very first stage of life. At 2Ontdekkers we work development-oriented. This means that every activity and interaction is tailored to what your child needs at that moment to grow. Our experienced pedagogical staff know your child inside out and closely follow his or her development. Language development receives extra attention: in every group we offer challenging activities that stimulate vocabulary and speaking skills. For the oldest toddlers we also organise special 3+ activities, allowing them to playfully practise skills that will come in handy at school. Our outdoor space is a true paradise. The large outdoor area offers a traffic square, a sandbox, an amphitheatre and an animal meadow with goats, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. The very youngest explore a separate baby section, where they can safely crawl, climb and discover. Inside, everything is designed around the world of experience of young children: bright, spacious group rooms, soft sleeping areas and corners where rest and stimulation go hand in hand. Daycare centre 2Ontdekkers is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. We work with horizontal groups, so that your child is surrounded by peers and the activities perfectly match his or her developmental stage.
