Norlandia BSO De Stoomtram

Welcome to Norlandia BSO De Stoomtram, our brand-new after-school care centre at Stoomtramweg 114 in Rotterdam. Since 1 April 2024 we provide out-of-school care for up to 36 children aged 7 to 12. Our site sits right next to BSO Mistral, together forming a lively BSO hub in the neighbourhood. At De Stoomtram, outdoor life takes centre stage. We believe children develop best by playing, exploring and moving in the fresh air. Every day brings a new outdoor adventure. Our spacious, green playground invites children to romp, build dens and play outside for hours. Kids have all the room they need to burn off energy and let their imagination run free. We operate an open-door policy. Children start the afternoon in their own base group, then choose where to play or which activity to join. Our pedagogical staff set up different play corners and materials each day, so there is always something new to discover. From crafting and woodwork to cooking and relaxing – at De Stoomtram every child decides how their afternoon looks. We are also open during school holidays and study days, when we organise extra activities and outings, always tied to a fun theme. This keeps every holiday special and surprising.
