Nijntje

We are daycare Nijntje, located in the friendly Tuinwijk neighbourhood at Adriaen Beyerkade 150 in Utrecht. As part of Kind & Co Ludens, we have been providing small-scale, professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 since 2005. Our location features three spacious, bright groups arranged according to the age and developmental stage of the children: 0-26 months, 0-4 years and 2-4 years. Each group has access to a shared piazza with play and discovery corners where children can meet and play together. Our large, green garden is a true play and learning environment. Children can go on adventures in the willow tunnel and willow huts. For the very youngest, we have a separate screened outdoor area so they can play safely and quietly. We are inspired by nature and the seasons; sustainability and a green vision are central to our daily practice. We work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children the space to feel comfortable and have fun. Only when a child feels safe can it discover and grow. We provide a rich environment with play materials that match each child's development. Together we are a mini-society: we care for each other and for the world around us. At Nijntje, warmth, safety and development are paramount. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with attention and expertise, so that parents can bring their child to us with peace of mind.
