Welcome to BSO Nieuwenoord, part of Kinderopvang Mundo. Our after-school care location is situated at Nieuwenoord 157 in the green IJsselmonde district of Rotterdam. We provide after-school care for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12 years. BSO Nieuwenoord is housed in a beautifully renovated building designed specifically for children. Upon entering the spacious central hall, children immediately feel welcome. This hall serves as the heart of our location, where children can play, discover and experience adventures. We have deliberately chosen a homely and inviting atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. Our outdoor space is not a standard playground, but a natural discovery area with plenty of greenery and natural play opportunities. Children can romp around, carry branches, discover insects and enjoy outdoor play. We are proud of our nature garden, which is specially designed to stimulate children's curiosity and introduce them to nature through play. We work with themes that change every six weeks and connect with children's experiences. Our pedagogical staff organize fun and challenging activities daily, both indoors and outdoors. Think of sports and games, nature activities, creative projects and small outings in the immediate area. We regularly receive visits from Mundo's Activity Team. These specialists provide sports, nature and creative activities that children always experience as a great celebration. We believe it's important that children can relax after school, but also discover new things and learn. BSO Nieuwenoord collaborates with primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. We pick up children from school and offer them a familiar place where they can play, relax and meet friends. Our location is easily accessible by tram 23 (Akkeroord stop) and is located in a quiet, green residential area. We have an active parent committee that contributes to the development of our after-school care and regularly organizes parent activities.
